Moss to Titans

Surely this isnt breaking news to most of you at this point, but it's definitely a huge move, and devastating for a Texan fan. Moss will pull double coverage and spread the field out for Chris Johnson and Kenny Britt (if his hammy injury turns out to be insignificant) for the rest of the season, keep in mind we still have to play them twice. This move just made our season schedule harder than it already was, especially since we're the worst defense against the pass in the league. Hopefully the Titans have better caterers right? The good news? It made it harder on the Colts too...

Week 9 AFC South Predictions

After a Monday Night embarrassment against the Colts, Gary Kubiak and the Texans once again find themselves in a "must win" game Sunday with the San Diego Chargers coming to town. A game in which the Texans seemed outplayed and more importantly outcoached. Its possible that Gary Kubiak and his staff have never looked this bad in the eye of the Houston fanbase as they do at this very point in time, and that's saying a lot considering past seasons. They knew they needed to run the ball to beat Indy, they didn't establish the running game, they didn't even try. Matt Schaub looked like a rookie instead of the seasoned veteran that he is. The Colts pushed our Defensive Line around all night and held us to one sack for the entire game. I could do this all night, moving on to San Diego.

San Diego (3-5) is notoriously a slow starting team. Anyone who has watched this team over the last few years knows it, and as Houston luck usually goes, we get to play them in November. Philip Rivers will enter the game as the leading passer in the NFL averaging just over 315 yards per game. The Chargers defense comes in 1st at defending the pass only giving up 176.9 yards per game, and 2nd at defending the run only giving up 83.1 yards per game. They're the total package, outstanding offense and defense. The Texans will enter the game with a 4-3 record, and if Kubiak and Co. don't actually gameplan for these guys, we'll be 4-4 Monday. Expect a shootout, high scoring. San Diego 31, Houston 37.

On a side note: Kris Brown will enter the game as San Diego's starting kicker in Sunday's game, if you're at the game, make sure you give this guy the ovation he deserves. Although he's had his ups and downs, he's had our back since Jump Street, so show some respect.

With Tennessee and Jacksonville on Byes this week the only AFC South rival game to watch will be Indy going in to Philadelphia. This matchup is intriguing because as powerful as the the Colts offense has been they will be evenly matched by Philly's D. Andy Reid will do what Gary Kubiak failed to do, he will establish the run game, control the clock, and win this game. Expect a big game from Eagles RB LeSean McCoy and QB Michael Vick who is supposedly 100% coming in to the week and will get the start. We're all Eagles fans Sunday. Colts 17, Eagles 28.

The Texans have waived DE Adewale Ogunleye and signed DE Tim Jamison from the practice squad
